Admission Process for PGDM (Executive) 2 Years
Managers/Executives of Private, Public, and Government Undertakings and State and Central Government Departments are eligible to apply. Entrepreneurs from family businesses are also eligible to apply.
Eligibility
An applicant must have:
- A minimum of 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE,
- A minimum of 50% marks in class 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent CGPA, and
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification executive work experience (excluding stipendiary / training period) as on 30th July, 2021.
Selection Process
The selection would be based on a MDI Test (conducted by MDI in MDI Campus, Gurgaon or online) /GMAT / CAT. The candidates with a valid CAT and GMAT score are not required to appear in the MDI written test.
All applicants/candidates will also be required to appear for personal interview to be held at MDI Gurgaon campus as intimated by the admissions office.
Through MDI Test
The candidates will have to appear for a MDI written test to be conducted by MDI in its Gurgaon Campus or online. This test is on similar lines/of the same pattern as the Common Admission Test (CAT). The MDI test will have sections on quantitative ability, logical reasoning and English language skills. The tentative dates for the MDI Test will be intimated by the admissions office.
Through CAT
The Common Admission Test (CAT-2020) would be conducted by the IIMs on Sunday, November 29, 2020. Applicants must refer to the CAT Advertisement for further details. The score of CAT-2020 will be applicable.
Through GMAT
If the applicant is applying through GMAT, the GMAT score should have validity of 5 years with reference to closing date of application.
Sponsorship
The programme would admit both organization-sponsored as well as self-sponsored candidates. A sponsorship letter from the organization would be required in the case of organization-sponsored candidates. A no objection letter from the organization will be required from self-sponsored candidates.
Online Application
Applicants have to apply online by visiting MDI Gurgaon website https://www.mdi.ac.in. Candidates have to make an online payment of Rs. 3000 (Rupees three thousand only) inclusive of 18% GST using Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.
Personal Interview
The tentative dates for Personal Interview are June 6, 2021 June 27, 2021 and July 18, 2021.
Admission Offer
Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection individually and through our website. The selected candidates will have to pay the first instalment of fee by the given deadline, failing which their offer of admission would be withdrawn, without any further intimation.
Session Commencement Date
The classes will commence as per the Academic Calender of AICTE. The classes are held on three days every week. These three days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Second year (fifth term onwards) classes are held throughout the week and for an individual the class schedule depends on the electives chosen by him/her. Classes are held in the evenings from 6.30 PM to 9.45 PM on weekdays (consisting of two sessions of 90 minutes each), from 2.00 PM to 5.15 PM and 6.30 PM to 9.45 PM on Saturdays (four sessions of 90 minutes each), and from 10.00 AM to 1.15 PM and 2.00 PM to 5.15 PM on Sundays (four sessions of 90 minutes each), with a lunch break from 1.15 PM to 2.00 PM.
