Agenda/Concept of the club: MarQuity, The Marketing club of MDI aims to instill marketing knowledge in students in the most fun and engaging way. MarQuity constantly tries to give the aspiring Marketeers of MDI the best learning exposure by organizing several online quizzes and contests, live projects, compendiums and sector reports. Marquity’s flagship national level case study competition is floated in association with Imperium. The online student community is kept engaged through MarQuity’s Facebook page. MarQuity also facilitates industry interaction by organizing guest talks and an annual marketing conclave by experts from various domains.
Activites of the club:
Mailers and Informative posts: Students are kept up to date with the latest developments in the field of marketing. Fun facts and industry news is shared every week with the students.
Case competition: The National Level Case study Competition is conducted every year in association with a case partner. More than 300 students register every year from colleges across the nation.
Weekly quiz: It is an online quiz conducted on facebook the winner gets free goodies.
Live projects: Frequent tie-ups with companies to float live projects. These live projects provide students with practical experience of solving real business problems.
Imperium events: Various on the spot events are conducted to engage the students in fun activities that involve usage of marketing knowledge
Newsletter: It is released every year in January. It includes marketing articles, MarQuity activities, interviews of alums, trivia, etc
Conclave: The event consists of panel discussions on various trends in the field of marketing. The objective is to bring together students, faculty and eminent industry speakers on the same platform and engage in stimulating discussions.
