Shri. Sunil Kumar Bansal is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, New Delhi, Cost Accountant from ICWAI, Kolkata and holds Diploma in Treasury and Forex Management from ICFAI, Hyderabad. He secured All India rank 23rd in CA Final. Shri. Bansal served in NABARD since 1984 after joining as Direct Recruit Officer in Grade B (Manager) and rose through rank and file to Top Management level as Chief General Manager (CGM) in 2011. He is having an overall experience of more than 37 years inclusive of over 11 years’ leadership experience at Board / Top Level Management.

Shri. Bansal joined IFCI on June 04, 2020 as Deputy Managing Director (Whole Time Director). Worked as DMD In-charge of IFCI from 17th August 2020 to 11th June 2021; headed a team of 200 officers; three regional offices; managed the IFCI Group compromising 13 Group companies.

Shri. Sunil Kumar Bansal is the Chairman of IFCI Venture Capital Funds Ltd., IFCI Factors Ltd., IFCI Infrastructure Development Ltd., Madhya Pradesh Consultancy Organization Limited (MPCON Ltd.), Rashtriya Gramin Vikas Nidhi and Institute of Leadership Development. He is also the Director/Member on the Boards of Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd., SIDBI, NABCONS (Consultancy arm of NABARD), NABVENTURE (Agri-Venture of NABARD), Chhattisgarh State Co-operative Bank, Regional Rural Banks – Jaipur Nagaur Aanchalik Gramin Bank and Aravali Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India.

Shri. Bansal has proven his expertise as member of important Committees set up by Government of India like (i) Working Group on KCC constituted by DFS, MoF, GoI to review the Kisan Credit Card Scheme (ii) Sarangi Committee on Interest Subvention and DBT.

Shri. Bansal has a proven professional track record with rich experience in solution-oriented approach backed by vision, strategy, brand building, creativity, innovation, networking, liasioning and decision making. He has led initiatives to bag key assignments entailing investments of Rs.1.92 lakh crores with employment generation of 17 lakhs jobs under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Initiative. He managed RIDF Fund since 1995, Treasury portfolio of Rs.57,000 crores resource mobilization of Rs.2 lakh crores through CPs, CDs etc.
