Navigating the New Era of Corporate Governance: Insights into Reporting, Law, and Insolvency

The 3-day conference, organized jointly by NFCG and SoMFI-MDI Gurgaon, aims to bring together leading academics, industry professionals, and policymakers to discuss the evolving landscape of governance and finance. The Conference will delve into current challenges, best practices, and innovative strategies that shape these fields, providing a platform for comprehensive discussions and collaborative learning.

With a strong focus on emerging trends, the Conference will cover themes such as the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), Financial and non-financial reporting, corporate governance practices, and Company law (including competition law). The event will explore how organizations adapt to global standards, leverage technology, and incorporate principles like ESG into their strategies.

Participants will be able to share research findings, case studies, and innovative approaches that enhance transparency, accountability, and sustainability in corporate governance.

By addressing topics like financial reporting reforms, ESG compliance, and technological integration, the Conference aims to inspire actionable insights that can shape future policy and corporate strategies. The concept of quantum governance will also be introduced, providing fresh insights into agile decision-making in a data-driven era.

Submission Instructions:

• Extended Abstracts should summarize the research in 500-800 words.

• Full papers should not exceed 6,500 words, including all tables, references, and appendices, and must follow the standard APA format.

• Authors are expected to present original research that has not been published elsewhere. All data, methods, and findings should be accurately reported, without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation. Authors must properly acknowledge the contributions of others, including citing relevant work. Plagiarism, in any form, is unacceptable and will result in the rejection of the submitted paper. Furthermore, authors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest that might influence the results or interpretation of their work. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple conferences or journals simultaneously is considered unethical and is strictly prohibited.

Selection Process:

• All the submissions are peer-reviewed and reviewed by members of the scientific committee or a panel of experts from NFCG and MDI Gurgaon.
• Accepted papers will be presented at the Conference and considered for publication in a special issue of a recognized journal and as a book chapter in the edited book proceedings.

It specifically caters to the emerging markets of India and South Asian countries. The primary objective of SoMFI is to cultivate business leaders who can add value to their organizations while shaping the sector's landscape through policy-making. About NFCG
In 2003, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) led a unique PPP model to set up the National Foundation for Corporate Governance in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Subsequently, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, National Stock Exchange and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs also joined with an objective to promote good Corporate Governance practices both at the level of individual corporates and Industry as a whole.
