MDI Gurgaon to host a Round Table Discussion on the theme "The Changing Face of Higher Education: Lessons learnt in the past 3 years in India and USA" on December 29, 2022 in hybrid mode at MDI Gurgaon Campus.
With the experience of COVID-19 pandemic the higher education sector across the globe is witnessing a lot of disruption, with a well-defined push towards blended/online learning. The pandemic forced institutions to shut their campuses and shift to online mode almost overnight. This exigent shift created a disruption in the delivery of higher education. Additionally, policies emerging in this space make normative demands on institutions. It is imperative to understand the impact, of intersection of the normative demands from the emerging policy environment and operational demands due to COVID-19 pandemic, on the design and delivery of higher education. (Aguilar & Pifarre Turmo, 2019), (Basari & Altinay, 2017).
In this round table, Academicians and experts from India and USA, in the domain of higher education design and delivery, will come together to deliberate on “how the learnings from the COVID-19 experience can be leveraged to meet the normative demands made by the emerging policy environment?” and “technology and higher education beyond COVID-19”.
The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Jyotsna Bhatnagar, OB-HRM Area, and Prof. Vanita Singh, Economics & Public Policy Area from MDI Gurgaon.
