Profile

Dr Arindra Nath Mishra is an award-winning researcher in the field of AI. He primarily works on issues and challenges related to NLP and LLMs. He has several research papers published in journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, American Business Review, Tourism Analysis and International Journal of Human Computer Interaction. His paper on AI Adoption got the best paper award in 2022 from Emerald Publishing.

Education

  • PhD from XLRI-Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur
  • Master of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (First Class with Distinction)

He has also attended summer school course from Oxford Mathematical Institute, Oxford University on Machine Learning and Generative AI. Also attended faculty development workshop in IS Course design from IIM Bangalore.

Work Experience

He has also worked at Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi before joining MDI. Prior to his academic career, he worked in business analyst roles at IBM and Cartesian Consulting.

He has taught IS and Analytics courses across IPM, MBA, and PhD programs. He teaches courses such as Information Systems (MIS), Mobile Applications & M-Commerce, Pricing Analytics, Strategy for Analytics, Introduction to Python, Emerging Research in Information Systems and Business Intelligence (Doctoral Course).
