Dr. Arup Kumar Das is an experienced IT Telecom Professional with an experience of more than 34 years in Information Technology working on varieties of functions like, Consulting, Pre-Sales, Business Development, Project Delivery, Security and Business Operations serving more than 30 customer projects worldwide. Dr. Das has been associated with Telecom Industry, majority of his career and had been responsible for setting up Offshore Delivery Center for large & complex transformation projects and have delivered and led large complex software development projects in IP Core Networks, Wireless Networks, BSS/OSS and Cloud Technologies. Dr. Das has worked on Customer Proposals, Pre-Sales and Bid Management of complex IT opportunities and has closed significantly large deals. Currently, he is heading the IT & Information Security & Compliance function and responsible for setting up a 7000+ organization with security & compliance awareness and responsible for implementing security guidelines & principles, as per industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, NESSAS), in services project deliveries to customer.

Dr. Das is a Graduate in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata; Post Graduate Diploma (MBA) from XLRI, Jamshedpur and a Doctorate in Business Management, Information Systems from Management Development Institute Gurgaon. His area of specialization is Information Systems - Strategic Outsourcing and Value Creation. His research works has got published in The Journal of Information Technology and Case and Analysis Research, Indian Journal of Economics and Business and Richard Ivey School of Business.

Dr. Das takes up lectures at Management Business Schools as a guest lecturer. He mentors students and young graduates on upcoming technologies in the areas of Agile Project Management & DEVOPS; Service Oriented Architecture & Micro Services; Robotic Process Automation; Business Intelligence / Business Analytics; Delivering Information Services; Management of Information Systems and Managing E-Business.
