Mahadeo Jaiswal, PGPX from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA; PhD in Computer Science from University of Delhi and Sr. Fulbright Post Doc Fellow from Carnegie Mellon University, USA is currently Professor of Information Systems and Dean (Research & Accreditation) at Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. He has been visiting faculty at IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Indore. Before joining MDI, he worked as Assistant Professor at Institute of Rural Management, Anand. He has been engaged in developing Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for IT and ITES at Carnegie Mellon University, USA and also was engaged in developing e-Business simulation game in partnership with Erasmus & Delft University, NL as part of  European Union funded large research project. He drafted policy document on “ICT Strategy for Indian Manufacturing Competitiveness” for DIIP, Government of India. His area of expertise includes Startups and Social Entrepreneurship Strategy, Digital Platform Innovation & Governance, Business Transformation and Contract management for large ERP and e-Government Projects. He has authored 7 books and over 50 research papers/cases in International/national journals and conference proceedings.

He has been engaged as Management Consultant on ERP and large IT Projects for several Organizations such as Coal India Ltd (CIL); Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL); POWERGRID; SJVN Ltd; Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd; Cochin International Airport Pvt. Ltd.;  Indian Railways (RiTES, IRCON, RLDA, CRIS); Asian Development Bank (ADB); HP State Electricity Board Ltd; HP Power Corporation Ltd; Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd.;  FACT Kochin; NTPC-SAIL JV; TCIL etc.
