Profile

Dr. Kamal Sanguri is an Assistant Professor in the Operations Management Area at MDI Gurgaon. He earned his PhD in Operations Management & Decision Sciences from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur, with research on intermittent demand forecasting under the risk of obsolescence. He also holds an M.Tech. in Industrial & Management Engineering from IIT Kanpur and a B.Tech. in Production Engineering from GBPUAT Pantnagar. Before joining MDI, he was with the School of Management at Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal Campus, and also worked with Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Gurgaon) as Deputy Manager in Materials, Logistics & Supply Chain for over five years. His work bridges academic research with industrial practice, particularly in forecasting, inventory management, and decision analytics.
