Profile

Prof. Sneha Dhyani Bhatt is a trained Production Engineer from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology and holds a PhD from IIM Ahmedabad in the Production and Quantitative Methods area. She specializes in large-scale network optimization techniques that have applications in Supply Chain and Logistics and in the Aviation Industry. She teaches courses related to Decision Sciences, Operations Management, Project Management, and Service Operations Management to postgraduate students and executives. Additionally, she has conducted training programs for Boeing, TCIL, IOCL, and SBI on quantitative modeling and project management. Before MDI Gurgaon, she had taught at FORE School of Management.

Prof. Sneha has published her research in reputed journals, including Transportation Research Part-E and Annals of Operations Research, and has presented her work at Operations Research conferences such as INFORMS, EWGLA, and EURO. She also serves as a regular reviewer for journals, including POMS, EJOR, TRE, and OPSEARCH.

Before pursuing her PhD, she had worked at Ashok Leyland Ltd. in manufacturing, supply chain, and business excellence roles for approximately 4.5 years, where she managed multiple projects related to New Vehicle Introduction and Process Improvement. She is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality and has guided multiple Green Belt projects.
