Profile

Dr. Subhendu Patnaik has over 15 years of industry and teaching experience. Dr. Patnaik obtained an MBA from Cardiff University, UK, and a PhD in Organizational Behaviour. He has published in the ABDC ‘A’ and ABS ‘3’ ranked journals. He was previously working with IMT Ghaziabad as faculty in the OB and HRM area and was the Co-Chairperson for the PGDM-ExP program. Dr. Patnaik is a member of the HR and IR committee of CII-Delhi. He has taught at the University of Pecs, Hungary. He has conducted Management Development Programs (MDP) for working executives from UNICAM, Brazil, and Universidad Externado de Colombia, and he has also delivered training sessions for Odisha government officers at Gopabandhu Academy of Administration.

Dr. Patnaik’s current research interests revolve around understanding the effect of positive constructs (e.g., PsyCap, psychological ownership, and grit) on work outcomes, along with the examination of neurobiological markers. To uncover the phenomenon of interest, he aspires to use a combination of experimental, daily-dairy studies, and mixed-method designs using both multi-level and longitudinal samples.
