Prof. Vivek Bhatia is a Fellow member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (FCMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India (ICFAI), Licensed International Financial Analyst (LIFA) from International Research Association (IRA-UK), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from ICMA (Australia), and Chartered Financial Analyst from CFA Institute-USA. He has also cleared level-1 of Financial Risk Manager program (FRM) from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). He has done his Masters in Finance & Control (MFC). He has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy by Alabbar School of Management, Raffles University, Neemrana, Rajasthan. He has work experience of 28 years in the area of corporate finance and financial consulting. He is also a Member of the Valuation Standard Board and Grievance Redressal Committee of ICMAI Registered Valuers Organization, a wholly owned Subsidiary of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, section 8 company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 and recognized by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India. ICMAI  Registered  Valuers Organization has constituted a Valuation Standards  Board with the objectives of undertaking research work in the field of Valuation, set asset specific guidelines and to Standardize the various principles, practices followed by Registered Valuers in valuation of assets & liabilities for the benefit of all the stakeholders.

He was associated as Adjunct Faculty at IBS Business School, Gurgaon. His specialization includes Financial & Cost Accounting, Investment Management, and International Financial Management, Financial Risk Management & Derivatives, Mergers, Acquisitions and Valuations. He has been conducting regularly various MDPs, FDPs and number of training programs in above areas for Corporates. He has been associated as visiting faculty to various other B-schools like FMS-DU, National Institute of Financial Management, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, School of Inspired Leadership-Gurgaon, Chandragupt Institute of Management - Patna, International Management Institute and IIM-Bhodhgaya.
