Developing Women Leaders: A Communication Perspective
In a highly competitive and VUCA world, communication is an indispensable attribute of a great leader. Communication competencies add to the credibility and effectiveness of a leader, irrespective of one’s gender. Women leaders enter the business arena possessing certain skills, such as sensitive listening, relationship orientation, empathy, expressiveness, and so on – all of which are important prerequisites for being effective communicators. But simply possessing these skills does not necessarily translate into communication competence in a work environment.
