Demand uncertainty has become a major managerial challenge across sectors. Frequent market shifts, changing customer behaviour, supply disruptions, promotional volatility, inflationary pressures, geopolitical uncertainty and digital-channel growth have made supply-chain planning more complex. Many organisations already possess ERP systems, dashboards and analytics outputs. However, the managerial challenge often lies in interpreting forecast outputs correctly and converting them into practical decisions related to stock levels, procurement commitments, production or capacity plans, distribution readiness and fulfilment reliability.
