Leading People Through Agentic AI Transformation: A No-Code Change Management Playbook
Every wave of technology ultimately succeeds or fails on human ground. Generative AI systems now draft documents, analyse data, and converse with customers, and a newer class of agentic AI systems can plan, decide, and execute multi-step tasks with limited human intervention. Industry evidence, however, is consistent: most AI initiatives stall not because the technology fails, but because people, culture, and change management do — employees resist tools they do not trust, middle managers feel bypassed, stakeholders are consulted too late, and adoption withers after the pilot. Leading AI transformation is therefore, at its core, an organizational behaviour and human resource challenge: one of trust, fairness, capability, communication, and change. This two-day Management Development Programme approaches AI adoption from that people-first vantage point. Using no-code tools, so that no programming background is ever required and participants experience the technology first-hand, and then learn to lead the human side of its adoption: mapping stakeholders, building change coalitions, managing resistance, redesigning roles, and ensuring that AI deployment is perceived as fair, transparent, and trustworthy by the workforce.
Objective
The programme equips senior and mid-level managers, HR leaders, and change agents to lead AI-enabled transformation with people at the centre. On completion, participants will be able to:
• Explain, in business language, how generative and agentic AI systems work, how they differ, and how they reshape jobs, roles, skills, and the employee experience.
• Conduct a systematic stakeholder analysis for an AI initiative: mapping influence and interest, anticipating concerns of employees, unions, middle
managers, customers, and regulators, and designing engagement strategies for each.
• Apply established change management frameworks to AI adoption, diagnosing change readiness, building guiding coalitions, managing resistance, and
sustaining adoption beyond the pilot stage.
• Design AI deployments that employees perceive as fair and trustworthy, drawing on organizational justice principles — transparency of process, voice,
dignity, and explanation to build psychological safety around new technology.
• Reimagine core HR processes: talent acquisition, learning and development, performance enablement, and employee listening — with AI copilots, while
managing associated risks such as bias, hallucination, and data privacy.
• Align people-related AI practices with the Indian regulatory environment — the DPDP Act 2023 and allied MeitY guidance — alongside global
frameworks such as the GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Prepare an executive-ready AI change roadmap for their own organization, integrating use cases, stakeholder engagement, capability building,
communication, and adoption metrics.
Contents
The programme unfolds over two intensive days, blending conceptual sessions, no-code laboratory work, and change-leadership practice:
Day 1: Foundations - AI, Work, and the People Leader
• The AI landscape for decision-makers: from chatbots and copilots to autonomous agents — what has changed, and what it means for organizations,
jobs, and skills.
• How large language models actually work: capabilities, limits, and the leader’s mental model (no mathematics, no code).
• The future of work with AI agents: task redesign, role evolution, human–AI collaboration, and the shifting psychological contract.
• No-Code Lab I: participants create their first AI assistant and a working web page using prompt-driven, no-code tools.
Day 2: Leading the Change — From Pilot to Embedded Practice
• Change management for AI transformation: diagnosing readiness, building the guiding coalition, communicating the case for change, and celebrating
early wins — classic change frameworks applied to AI adoption.
• Managing resistance: understanding job-security anxiety, skill threat, and status loss; engaging middle managers as change carriers rather than
casualties; and the role of employee voice and participation.
• Governance with a human face: DPDP Act 2023, MeitY and IndiaAI guidance, GDPR, and the EU AI Act; human oversight, guardrails, and adoption
metrics and KPIs that track people outcomes, not just technology outcomes.
• Capstone workshop: each participant drafts a AI change roadmap for their organization — use cases, stakeholder plan, communication strategy,
capability plan, and success metrics — and presents it for structured peer and faculty feedback
