Responsible AI and Emerging Frameworks

Artificial intelligence (AI) powers Google’s search engine, enables Facebook to target advertising, and allows Alexa and Siri to do their jobs. AI is also behind self-driving cars, predictive policing, and autonomous weapons that can kill without human intervention. These and other AI applications raise complex ethical issues that are the subject of ongoing debate. As AI technologies become increasingly sophisticated and integrated into our lives, ethical concerns have grown around issues such as privacy, bias, transparency, accountability, explainability, and the potential misuse of AI. In response to these and other ethical concerns, organizations and governments have developed various frameworks and guidelines for the responsible development and use of AI. These frameworks typically include principles such as transparency, fairness, accountability, and human-centric design.
This programme offers a deep understanding of the ethical considerations, tools and frameworks to promote ethical development and deployment of AI, legal and regulatory enablement’s to ensure Responsible AI practices. This knowledge is essential in designing and managing AI based products. Participants will critically examine potential threats arising from AI applications, along with a comprehensive study of various tools and frameworks to ensure responsible AI practices.
Specifically, AI Challenges and Apprehensions in Deployment including threat Scenarios from AI and Big data, Bias and Fairness, Privacy, Liability, Fake News, Misinformation, Disinformation; Copyright Infringement, AI Hallucinations and why you should Think about ‘Responsible AI’; Governing principles of Responsible AI across geographies; Techniques and frameworks to promote Ethical development and deployment of AI, auditing AI algorithms for fairness, Machine unlearning algorithms, synthetic data generation, AI bias mitigation strategies, Explainable AI frameworks, AI Governance Testing Frameworks, Ethical AI frameworks, laws and regulations, etc

Objectives

The course will be taught through a combination of class discussions, case studies, exercises, quizzes, projects, assignments, and presentations. Participants are expected to have comprehensively read the assigned articles, and the case studies and participate pro-actively in class discussions. Each participant/team is expected to have analyzed the business case study for the session as the context.
The detailed module outline shows the topics, reading assignments and activities for each session. Further, there will be data analysis and exercises based on that. Guest sessions will be organized on related concepts.

Venue & Duration

The programme is scheduled during August 07-09, 2025 on a residential basis at MDI Campus, Mehrauli Road, Sukhrali, Gurugram. Accommodation for participants would be available at MDI Campus from the noon of August 06, 2025, to the forenoon of August 10, 2025.

Registration & Fees

Participants should be nominated by their organizations. The enclosed nomination form should be completed and returned with all the details. The fee of the program is Rs. 42,500/- (Rupees Forty Two Thousand Five Hundred only) per participant which includes a professional fee and all charges for boarding, lodging and supply of course materials during the programme. GST as applicable will be charged extra in addition to the programme fee. Payment should be made by Cheque/NEFT/RTGS.

Discount Policy
With a view to our long-term relationship with your esteemed organization, we are pleased to introduce the discount policy in this programme. The discount will be observed in the following conditions: (discount is applicable in NEPAL also)
• 10% Discount against 3-5 nominations
• 20% Discount against more than 5 nominations

Important Dates

The last date for receipt of nominations is July 24, 2025. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is July 24, 2025. Any withdrawal received after this date will be subject to deduction as per the Institute’s rules. However, substitution may be permitted.
Nominating organizations are advised to await confirmation of acceptance of nominations(s) before sending the participants to the programme venue.
