Session's abstract: Pursuing a PhD study is one of the most lonely and unpredictable journeys most students embark on. This journey could be bumpy, and how prepared are students to handle such challenges? Completing a PhD study on time is undoubtedly one of the most fulfilling pursuits for many doctoral students, but most students struggle to finish their PhD on time. However, finishing your PhD study on time is not as daunting as it may sound. There is currently immense pressure on doctoral students to publish as part of the requirements for the award of a PhD, and the phrase “Publish or perish”, initially coined by Coolidge in 1932, is now a harsh reality. This seminar aims to share the importance of research publication and dissemination during the PhD process.
The session will be astutely moderated by Prof. Vidhu Gaur (Associate Professor, Business Communication, MDI Gurgaon).
