Title: Shaping Research for the Real World: Connecting Academic Work with Industry Impact
Dr. Prabhjot Kaur is a seasoned industry expert and researcher with a strong foundation in organizational development and people strategy. She currently serves at Ericsson, where she has led strategic HR initiatives focusing on areas such as talent management, leadership development, and learning. Prior to this, she has also been associated with KPMG India as an Associate Director. Dr. Kaur holds a PhD in Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour from Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon, and is also an alumna of XLRI Jamshedpur.
This session intends to explore the unique perspective of a professional who pursued a PhD with the aim of connecting academic rigor to real-world relevance. Drawing from her journey, the speaker will share how practice-informed research questions can enhance both academic and professional outcomes.
