First Internationally Accredited Indian B-School
MDI has the distinction of being the first internationally accredited Indian B-School. It was accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), U.K. in 2006. The Post Graduate Programme in Management, Post Graduate Programme in HR, The National Management Programme and the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management are all AMBA accredited. In addition to this, the college also received accreditation from South Asian Quality Systems (SAQS) in 2005.

MDI takes lead in hosting conferences which provide a forum for scholars from different fields and backgrounds to share their views and perspectives on the latest industry norms. The conferences attract a host of highly distinguished academicians and corporate organizations.

Training executives and fast track working professionals on the MDI campus, gives the institute the much needed academic –industry interaction. According to the AIMA survey of B-schools, MDI is the largest school for continuing education in the country. Number of companies trusting MDI for the continuous development of their executives and employees (usually through the MDP program) has been growing steadily. This gives the necessary boost to the industry-institute partnership.
