MDI Gurgaon – TLC & INDAM Announces DOCTORAL AND EARLY CAREER ACADEMICS (ECA)COLLOQUIUM & CONFERENCE on 19th-20th December 2024.
Theme: Sustainability In Emerging Economies - Integrating Business Excellence In Management Education
General Information: The purpose of responsible management education & research is to integrate United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into teaching & research in management institutions. The B-School Management programmes play an important role in developing this managerial competency. Thus, taking sustainability driven research to classrooms is a way to build excellence in teaching and finally business, governance & society. TLC@MDI understands this responsibility & proposes a 2 day Doctoral Colloquium & Conference on the proposed theme.
About the Colloquium: The doctoral colloquium is designed to impart skills on sustainability to participants. The colloquium/professional development workshops will empower the participants with required methodologies & tools on sustainability for business excellence through real world examples and case studies in emerging economies. TLC will be providing teaching based cutting edge pedagogy workshops on Simulations, Story Telling - Theatre, Case Teaching, Editorial Panels and bridging Industry based research into the classroom for the participants.
Submission for Conference: The conference will provide an opportunity to the participants to share their research & perspectives with a wider audience of experts. Eligible participants will submit extended abstract/management case within 1500 words based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as follows:
TRACK 1 (SDG 1,7,11,16): Sustainable living for the Society
TRACK 2 (SDG 2,3,4,5): Social Sustainability & Business Excellence
TRACK 3 (SDG 6,13): Environmental & Climate Sustainability
TRACK 4 (SDG 8,9,10,12): Operations & Economics of Business Sustainability
TRACK 5 (SDG 14,15): Integrating Sustainable Biosphere with Business Excellence
TRACK 6 (SDG 17): Marketing & Communications of Sustainable Businesses
Disciplines: All management disciplines including Marketing, Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Organisation Behaviour Operations, Strategy & General Management, Business Communication, Economics & Public Policy and Information Management.
Publication Opportunities: Selected Papers in Conference Proceedings / Edited Book by an International Publisher. Select Cases in an Edited Book by an International Publisher.
Eligible Participants:
• Management Research scholars who have developed their research proposals
• ECA-Management Faculty within 5 years of their Ph.D./FPM award
• Doctoral students or ECA can submit the papers in co-authorship with Faculty
