The PGDM Online-VI (Aug. 2025, 6th Batch) was inaugurated on August 16, 2025, on the auspicious day of Krishna Janmashtami with a lamp-lighting ceremony led by Chief Guest Dr. Shashank Teotia (Head, CHRO- Paras Hospitals Group), Prof. Arvind Sahay (Director, MDI Gurgaon), Prof. Sangeeta Shah Bhardwaj (Dean, Executive Graduate Programmes), Prof. Vidhu Gaur (Chairperson, PGDM Online), Prof. Mohita Maggon (Faculty In Charge- PGDM Online Admissions and Career Support), Prof. Saikat Banerjee (Faculty In Charge, PGDM Online) and the students — marking the beginning of a journey of wisdom and growth.
Prof. Vidhu Gaur, Chairperson PGDM Online, beautifully set the tone — weaving in the timeless wisdom of Lord Krishna, Mahatma Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela while reminding us that management is not just about skills, but equally about values and ethics.
Prof. Sangeeta Shah Bhardwaj, Dean Executive Programme highlighted the diversity of the 6th PGDM Online batch — 33% women, 6.5 years’ average work experience, and representation from 15+ sectors. She reminded that every student at MDI Gurgaon is not just a learner but a brand ambassador, shaping the programme’s future.
Prof. Saikat Banerjee, Faculty In Charge-PGDM Online encouraged learners to go beyond textbooks — to blend multiple disciplines, think critically, and find innovative solutions for today’s global challenges.
Prof. Arvind Sahay, Director MDI Gurgaon, shared that education creates value only when students engage fully. Growth, he said, comes through effort, time management, and curiosity — reminding the batch to balance work, family, and learning while staying rooted in hard work.
Dr. Shashank Teotia, Chief Guest for the occasion reminded that true leadership lies in continuous learning, adaptability, and being human at the core.
