The academic journey for the PGDM-BM and PGDM-BA Class of 2025 at MDI Gurgaon commenced with an inspiring inaugural session, attended by distinguished guests, MDI Gurgaon Faculty members, and the incoming cohorts. The session was graced by Shri Vikas Chawla, MD & CEO of Compass Group India, and Shri Sujoy Choudhury, Chief Strategy Officer of TCG Group.
Prof. Arvind Sahay, Director, MDI Gurgaon, welcomed the students with a compelling message on aligning aspirations with career goals, while encouraging them to actively engage with MDI Gurgaon's Centres of Excellence.
Prof. Sangeeta Shah Bhardwaj, MDI Gurgaon (Dean - Executive Graduate Programmes), applauded the resilience and courage of the incoming cohorts, urging them to pursue growth with passion and responsibility.
Dr. Chinmaya Kulshrestha (Chairperson, PGDM-BM) emphasized the legacy of the Business Management programme, encouraging students to cultivate curiosity, discipline, and active learning.
Prof. Vidhu Gaur (Chairperson, PGDM-BA) drew inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita, urging students to embrace selfless action, responsibility, and the true Mandavian spirit.
Keynote Insights:
Shri Vikas Chawla (MD & CEO, Compass Group India ) advocated for continuous learning and an entrepreneurial mindset. He emphasized the importance of humility, gratitude, and joy as vital companions on the journey to success.
Shri Sujoy Choudhury (Chief Strategy Officer, TCG Group) spotlighted India’s rise from imitation to innovation, inspiring students to seize “India’s moment” with perseverance, empathy, teamwork, and resilience.
